Medical Couriers, Inc. (MCI) is an American company with over 50 years of experience in healthcare logistics. Their main focus is the transport of sensitive medical materials such as medical samples, pharmaceuticals, and medical devices. Their key priorities are reliability, speed, and compliance with strict healthcare standards.
Since February 2022, we have been working with MCI to develop the MomentDash portal, which provides real-time monitoring and tracking of couriers and shipments. The portal includes an ordering system, courier workflow tools, supplier management, and audit data collection. It is fully customizable to the requirements of individual clients.

Challenges
MCI faced several key challenges:

- Effective integration with existing systems – Connect to the existing e-Courier system.
Solution
Together with the client's team, we familiarized ourselves with the technical condition of the original application and subsequently created a technical superstructure in the form of a distributed cloud solution.


Thanks to the proposed multi-tenant architecture, each client now has access to their own instance of the portal, which they can fully customize to their specific needs. Real-time tracking of couriers and shipments on an interactive map provides dispatchers with a comprehensive overview and speeds up the planning of new shipments.

Compliance with HIPAA standards ensures secure processing of sensitive data, which was a priority for the entire proposed system.
The MomentDash portal was deployed in the production environment in the second half of 2022. At present, it is actively used by 12+ clients, with more than 600 active couriers across the US.
