#ROBOTICS: Yesterday, we had the opportunity to showcase the Sentio OS Developer Preview not only to developers, but also to the general public.
During the day, experienced programmers worked with it hands-on - even though most of them were seeing a humanoid robot for the first time in their lives. Their first custom application was up and running within just a few minutes.

In the evening, we presented the robot at a university in front of around 250 people. We demonstrated simple autonomous behavior, camera-based perception, and Flow, where more complex tasks can be built from just a few visual blocks.

I was also really pleased to see media interest in the event, including TV Nova & Czech Radio - and Sentio OS was even mentioned by name in their report.

We still have a lot of work ahead of us, but one thing is becoming increasingly clear:

A humanoid robot does not have to remain a complex research project for a small group of specialists. With the right software layer built on top of the hardware, it can become a platform where regular developers can create their own applications very quickly.
And that is exactly the direction we want to take Sentio OS.
